Motorola Radio Room Sites
H&L Electric has upgraded more than 150 radio room sites for various New York City government agencies throughout the five boroughs in coordination with Motorola . This work entailed new power circuits, rack installation and antenna wiring. Motorola R56 standards were followed to ensure proper installation.
Crash Gates
H&L Electric provided power and control infrastructure for a temporary crash gate at a secured government facility, supporting enhanced site security and controlled access.
911 Training Rooms
H&L Electric converted existing office space into a training room for 911 dispatchers.
City of New York Data Center
H&L Electric completed the construction of New York City’s Main Data Center for DOITT/OTI. The scope of work included installation of a new PDU and RPP power distribution system, the installation of 95 miles of fiber optic cabling and 58 miles of copper cabling, along with new cabinets, frames, and an overhead fiber and data tray system. H&L integrated Avocent power systems within all cabinets and installed TZ and Hirsch cabinet locking and security systems to ensure secure, reliable performance.
NYC 911 Call Center
H&L Electric completed the power and low-voltage infrastructure installation for 325 call-taker positions at the City of New York’s Main 911 Call Center. The scope of work included installation of a new power distribution system featuring multiple UPS systems, generators, PDUs, automatic transfer switches (ATS), switchgear, DC control power supplies, mimic panels, and static transfer switches.
