Built out power, lighting, AV, and fire alarm, to a
gut renovated space for the New York Islanders
new locker room.
Barclays Center
Green Roof – Lighting Protection
Supplied and installed a lightning protection
system for the arena’s new roof. UL certification
awarded at the end of the installation. Project included
Fire Alarm additions and modifications to the facility.
MetroTech Center – Brooklyn
Plaza Light Show
Designed and installed a light and sound show for a public plaza.
Each night a light show takes place and displays a special show for
holidays. Installation included 96 LED lights to illuminate 48 trees
in five planters. Lighting and sound signal transmitted through
a proprietary wireless network.
The light shows were designed and programmed by H&L Electric.

Major Museum – Manhattan
Exterior Lighting and Fountains
Worked with a world-renowned Lighting Designer to install exterior LED lighting on the façade of a NYC Landmark Building and within newly installed landscaping and fountains. Furnished and installed a new Lighting Control System which allows full remote access to functionality. Creatively installed anemometers (wind meters) and other equipment to ensure efficient operation of newly installed programmable fountains. Installed an intricate FDNY approved Fire Alarm System to monitor and protect related areas.
Famous Coffee Shop – Manhattan
Store Build Out
Installed electrical infrastructure for a famous NYC coffee shop. All circuitry, lighting, and fire alarm were installed to minimize project duration and allow a successful grand opening. H&L worked closely with the design team to ensure all systems and equipment worked in harmony.
